3      TIMBERS 3, NY Red Bulls 3 - Diego Valeri and Darlington Nagbe score and Jose Valencia causes an own goal as Portland rallies from a 3-1 deficit in the second half to open the season with a point in the standings.

9      Montreal Impact 2, TIMBERS 1 - Ryan Johnson scores in the 80th minute, but Montreal follows up its win at Seattle a week earlier with a win at Jeld-Wen Field.

16    Timbers 1, SEATTLE SOUNDERS 1 - Portland gets a goal from Rodney Wallace in second-half stoppage time to salvage a draw with the host Sounders in the first game of the Cascadia Cup.

30    Timbers 2, COLORADO RAPIDS 2 - Portland rallies from a two-goal deficit with a pair of second-half scores by Will Johnson.


6      PORTLAND 2, Houston Dynamo 0 - Ryan Johnson scores two goals to give Portland its first win under coach Caleb Porter.

31       Real Salt Lake 3, PORTLAND 2 - RSL rallies with a goal in minute 89 and one in extra time to win. Darlington Nagbe scores twice.


7         Chivas USA 2, PORTLAND 1 - Kris Boyd scores his second goal, but Chivas rallies with two for the win, including one in minute 82.

5         PORTLAND 1, FC Dallas 1 - The Timbers earn their first point in the MLS standings under interim coach Gavin Wilkinson, and get first goal in three weeks when Jack Jewsbury scores in the 79th minute.

15       Portland 2, TORONTO FC 2 - Finally, a goal on the road - the team's first since April 14, then two. Sal Zizzo and Darlington Nagbe score, his goal in the 82nd minute, marking the latest score in a game of the season.

19       NEW YORK 3, Portland 2 - The Timbers go up 2-0 on first-half goals by Bright Dike and then Nagbe, his fifth of the season, but the Red Bulls rally and keep Portland winless since June 24.

25       PORTLAND 2, Vancouver 1 - Nagbe again comes through and Franck Songo'o tallies in the second half to break a 1-all tie that gives interim coach Gavin Wilkinson his first win in the biggest match possible - one from the Cascadia Cup.
